I'm so happy! I finally have power to my house once again! The neighbor says power has been out since 10 this morning. Thank God I do not have many big trees/shrubs around my house.

wow you too huh. ours went out around the same time. we went to buy candles and eat and came back and ours was on, so the twenty bucks we spent on the candles was kind of a waste. oh well, our apartment smells nice. haha

Luckily, I bought a nice LED cordless shop light last week at Sam's. That thing came in real handy this evening. It gave the house a nice xenon look :)

there are a ton of people down here in norman w/out power. funny thing is my power has never even flickered. I drove to campus and it looks like a war zone w/ nolights.

its weird bc tinker has power but all of the surrounding area is without power. sucks that all these trees are going to have to be cut down.

Our power has been out since late Sunday night/early Monday morning... :( Ended up buying a Mr heater "Big Buddy" and converted it to run on 20lb propane bottles! That thing rocks! :D

ya no power at my house either, its been out since sunday at 3:00am. its come back on for about 2 hours though, just enough to warm up the house again.(BTW i am posting from a friends house :))

we have had power the whole time at my place thank god.

grant you might as well pack your stuff and come on down here with us since you work down here now. hehehe

My power for whatever reason decided to go out around 7 tonight and come back on an hour and a half later. No school tomorrow either, they gotz no powerz!

trystan has had no school at all this week!! i cant believe it and no school tomorrow either. i think they are having power issues, that would be my guess.
baptist is and has been running on generators, its like the only thing lit up in that area. everything and everyone else lost their power, im sure baptist is probably sucking it all up with their damn generators. hahaha
i would hate for the generators to go out though, especially during one of our cases, like a bypass or valve. our patients are on the heart lung machines for those, so if our generators go out its no bueno.

Well, school has been cancelled to Wednesday. The first 2 day because of ice, and Wednesday because of no power. Alot of trees here in the neighborhood have been broken, including hte one in my backyard, and my friensd in his front yard broke in over 3 places. That tree got owned!

Ice has all melted by now, but I helped myself to some drifting on monday.:stickoutt

It's really just like everywhere else that got alot of ice. When I smacked some ice off my dads BMW yesterday it was an inch thick in some spots :eyecrazy
