Icelandic sport called 'Formula Offroad' absoutley rediculous!

It basicaly involves throwing your 1000hp monster at some gnarly vertical landscape.
It looks like it could be the most fun offroad sport ever!

Riiiight...two small steel bars holding up the front of the roof, real safe! The last guys helmet flies off!

This reminds me of the family guy episode where they have their own country, Peteria, and Chris is in charge of the space program...he's in the try reaching for the moon, and falls to the ground. Looks just like this retards trying to go up the hill. 1000hp or 50000hp, won't make a difference.

looks safe enough to me. but what high octane motorsport is completely safe?

It looks extremely safe. They are just rolling down a soft dirt hill at speeds that wouldn't scare a snail. The "two small steel bars" are obviously more than adequate since I didn't see any deformation of any metal in the video. It isn't like they are going to hit a barrier at 100mph or fly off the side of some road into any trees.

I see no one going to the hospital or having to be driven away in an ambulance despite half the vehicles flipping at least once. I also see none
of the vehicles being torn apart by the force of the "crashes". Everybody walks away and everybody seems happy enough to me.

And if you're going to have a ridiculously pointless analogy from a show at least get the details right. It's Petoria!
