Since today's 'supposed' drive didn't go down bcuz most of us couldn't make it. How about we plan a meet/drive? ..been about a year since the last time we invaded Valley of Fire. say we go again to end the year? and bring a cam for some shoots or I'll provide it for you.

Now picture these mini's but bimmers.. with a maybe Z and an Audi or :shifty when's the best time to go for everyone? make it official. Discuss :)

Well I am off tomorrow and next sunday so it don't matter to me will they be good light @ 2? Never been to red rock how far from here? Have to change my oil and wash my car too

Red Rock Canyon is by the 215 and Charleston exit. About 20-25mins from the Strip.

Looks like we will have to push Valley of Fire next sunday 12/23 and meet around noon or earlier.. discuss!

Hey I finally got to clean the lens on my cam. Almost ran to the cam shop to shell to out a few buck to pick up a cleaner. It was filthy, had water mark residue from taking pics when it rained hard out here the last time :shifty oh and I used Q-tip and alcohol -- corona extra, I think it was ;)

Great pics. I gotta get some of those clear turn sigs up front for mine. I saw some at Umnitza.com for 40 bucks. Anyone know about the quality of those? Maybe I can make the next drive with y'all. Mine's in the shop now havin' the trans rebuilt still. they said Wed. or Thurs. I guess I should've asked whether they meant this week or next! lol

Apparently, when all the rangers were at the turnoff, he saw me go by and started writing something down (maybe my lic. plate #). Then he saw all you guys go past, and I guess he figured he would pull over the first car. But when I came out of the last turn, I looked back and saw this white SUV two or three cars back. I knew that he had passed all you guys to get to that position, so I figured he had to be a ranger. So I drove REAL SLOW. And he passed me thinking the guy I got caught behind was with us. He pulls that guy over and it's some old f-ck. So at this point, the ranger is steaming pissed off b/c he pulled the wrong car over. So he basically escorts me out of the park staying right in front of me while we drive 35mph the whole way. It felt like forever! At one point, before the entry/exit point, he put some distance between me and him, and right after a 25mph construction zone turn, he was sitting on the side waiting to see if I came around the corner higher than the posted limit. But again, he wasn't slick enough. Eventually, I exited the park and after that, he had no jurisdiction...:evil2

haha I didn't think the cars behind us had any idea it was a ranger slowing everyone down. One of them with a blue dodge magnum I think it was cut pass 4-5 cars when we were doing 5 below the limit.

:lol hadn't I cleaned the camera lens the pics wouldn't have turned out as crisp as that. Thank goodness for Q-tips and beer.. priceless.
