Hey guys. I am in dire need of new tires for the e28. First of all, I read the "tire tutorial" but still have a few questions that I'd like answered. I thought I was going to be able to just throw on the baskeweaves from my e34 since they had 90% tread when I put the new rims on, but of course that would be too easy, the sidewall is too big and rubs the spring.

1. Are the gold BBS rims on my e28 metric? I forgot to look when I was home for Thanksgiving break.

2. If the above rims are metric, I'm afraid I'm going to have to switch to the e34 weaves because the metric tire prices are absolutely outrageous, so what is a decent tire for the e34 weaves? I don't need something that is speed rated to 400mph, but I don't want something that falls apart above 27 mph. Also what is the correct size I have to run on the weaves so they will clear everything?
