Hello,
I’ve some problems with my GT1.
I use VMWare. My Interface is for Ediabas (Ver. 6.4.3) / Inpa (4.4.7). The OBD2 diagnostic works very well, but OBD 1doesn’t. I think the Adapter (OBD2 -> OBD1) is not really an ADS Interface.
My PC:
Pentium 3, 896MB RAM, 20GB Harddisk
Successfully running and testing of INPA over OBD2 Interface.
IP: 192.168.68.1
Gateway and DNS: 192.168.68.1
IFH Service is always running, sometimes it shows me the IP adress 127.0.0.1 (localhost) in the taskbar, but it doesn’t do it anymore!
I changed the IP adress (C:\EDIABAS\BIN\EDIABAS.INI) under section [TCP] to 192.168.68.1 and port 6801.
VMWare:
When I start my GT1 programm it tells me that my network is down (brigdeing directly to the host LAN Card) . This is ok, because I’ve no lan cable connected.
GT1:
installed software:
- Base V39
- DIS V33
- TIS 2006
I changed the file "hosts" found in "/etc"
127.0.0.1 Localhost
192.168.68.1 Diaghead
192.168.68.30 GT1AP
I changed the file "ediabas.ini" found in "/etc"
[TCP]
remote host = 192.168.68.1
#remote host = tantella
port = 6801
My GT1 started and I saw this:
I've got the diagramme for a cabled diagnostic head like you can see here in the picture.
But no signal for the yellow head and GT1 Tester. I mean the icons.
When I start TIS it shows the following you can see in the next picture.
The apitest is ok and the ping to "Diaghead" is good.
Why changes the DIS program sometimes my IP adress under (/usr/ediabas/bin/ediabas.ini) into "not available" ?
Where is the error?
Why shouldn’t it work?
