I have a '94 325is 5spd that I recently swapped an M52 2.8 into. The M52 came out of an automatic 328i. This morning I started having driveshaft problems. So my question is, will the driveshaft from the 328 auto fit my 325 5spd??

newp, if you do the auto to manual you have to change the drive shaft length

I didnt do an auto to manual. I have a 95 325 with a 5spd, and I put the engine from an automatic 328 in my chassis but kept my 5spd. The only thing that changed was my motor.

There shouldn't be a problem, the M52 and M50 are identical as far as the tranny mounting is concerned. Exactly what problem are you having?

Under hard acceleration in 1st gear all the way through the RPM range or any accleleration at low RPM 2nd gear, there is an audible clunking that can be felt in my center console. I had it up on a rack at work yesterday, I couldnt see anything wrong other than my center bearing. So I replaced my center bearing and that didnt fix anyting. So I wanted to replace my driveshaft with a spare one that I have laying around. But my problem was, my spare one was out of an automatic and I have a 5 spd.

Only thing I can think of is the Guibo, if it makes a clunking/popping noise under acceleration.

That is what I thought at first. But the previous owner replaced it about 12k ago.

Check your subframe mounts to make sure they have not torn away from the body. That is a common problem, and the damage would be accelerated by the higher torque M52.

If it were that, would the vibration start at about 10mph and stop at around 30mph??
Im at a loss with what to do. I really dont want to take it into a shop. But I think I might just have to.

Another question that has absolutely nothing to do with this.... anyone from areas that get a lot of snow, Are you able to run tire cables on a lowered BMW running a 245-45/17?

I don't know about that, but it's easy to check. Get under your car with a flashlight and look above the 4 bushings that hold the subframe. If the body is torn, you'll see it right away.
