I found a very nice used set of 245/45/17 snows - anyone tried this size on OEM throwing star rims?

Thx, Steve

Thats what I am getting mounted on them next. Good rim protection and curb protection. I hope it all fits good, don't see why.

they should fit no problem, OEM tire size for 17x8's is 235/45. Not that big of a difference.

I however will be fitting 255/40's to my OEM 9in wheels coming soon!

Thanks Ichbinsobose:)

Are you going to run 17x9 in the front as well? If so let me know how it works Im waiting on my 17x9s to come in as well so I can run 255/40 as well. Im thinking the front will need spacers because of the offset but I have ordered a couple as well as studs.

I think the rears might be 22ET, which will work perfectly, there's at least .5-1in between the wheel and strut on an OEM 20ET.

The 17x9 M System rims are et22 and I know they will fit on the rear Im more worried about the front are u talking about the front rims in terms of clearance?
