My passenger side low beam headlight lens and trimring fell off. I have purchased a used replacement. Question: do I have to remove the entire headlight unit to replace the low beam, or can I just somehow replace just the low beam without removing the entire headlight unit? Can some one briefly explain the process e.g. is the light replace from the front, through the grill or through the engine bay? I know this is basic, but some info can save me a lot of trial and error. Thanks!

If you pop out the trim pieces on your bumper, you'll notice four big bolts hold it on, unbolt them. Then you can take off the metal kidney section, which allows you to get at the plastic grill, which allows you to get at the headlights. If you've got a cordless screwdriver it's maybe a 1/2 hour job to take apart once you've got practice. Everything in steps and it comes apart easily.

No worries. Let me know if you need help walking you through it, it's not tough, but if you need advice don't hesitate to ask.

One thing you're going to need, once you get the bumper off, is a very long thin screwdriver. This is used to take off the kidney section. There are square holes in the upper radiator support that you stick the screwdriver through, all the way down to the metal kidney piece, to push on plastic tabs. If you don't have one it makes the job a little more difficult.
