Hope this is the correct section....
I have a 92 325i. I wanna do the color swap on my cluster LEDs... I love VWs how they have blue gauges with red needles, my question is can you change the needle color seperately from the gauges?

Yes, you can. There is a nice write up in e36 section on how to change your needle color to red. Simply use a red sharpy! search for more details.

I want the needles to stay white, When I turn my parking lights on I want the lights to light them up red.

Thats easy enough...just disassemble the cluster and remove the needles as shown in the write-up and use a red sharpie or some sort of red film on the orange circle you will see that is right behind the needles...
Here is the write-up to take the gauges apart http://logun.org/e36gauges.htm
