G'Day all,

I've been thinking lately that a set of chrome exhaust tips would make my 535i much cleaner, tidier and overall better.

The current exhaust:

What I'm thinking about is possibly either of these looks.
I can't decide between having the pipes remaining individual:

Or having them in the one.. unit kinda thing:

Anyone who has something like this, or another style that works well for them, pics would be great, as well as general opinions and preferences.

Is thatthe stock exhaust? Looks pretty long....

Any way, absolutely no the "together" ones.
The other slip on ones look OK, but when installed you can def. tell they're just covers.

Why not cut the existing ones a little shorter and at an angle. And then spend an afternoon polishing 'em up. They wont look chrome, but they should brighten up to were they look really nice.

I used the stock chrome covers and they look just fine. (although my tips don't stick out that far for sure!)

whoa, those look like they could burn your leg off. I think it should sit more flush, you may want to cut those OEM tips shorter before you put new tips over them. My tips dont extend past the bumper..

Mine....

yeha i thought the togther ones look a tad... token P Plater style, just.. ick. But i could get used to them, that's what you guys are for =)
But yeah I do prefer the individuals.

yeah the dark blue's do look fantastic don't they.
While on the subject of coulour, there'll be a MAJOR problem trying to find some of the paint that'll match it if I choose to get a body kit or something for my car [Colour 189, Cirrus Blue (Cirrusblau)]
