Yup, cloth seats. Driver's is a little worn, but nothing bad. Manual seat adjusters too.

bet that car is light and realiable as all hell, I like vanos, but that seems to be the only motor thing that goes out before 200k. I live in whitewater wi, i might debate this as a perfect auto-x builder

but you have to take me out in the 951

Funny you should mention auto-x for this car. A friend was going to start that process on this car, especially since I checked, and there are no sub-frame issues with it (a good sign). Obviously, she decided to go in another direction with auto-x, so this car is available.

I'll give you a ride in the 951 AND the 996 if you want - you just have to wait a few months...:(

Bump for an extremely well built model year. They last forever...(see sig for current mileage).

Thought I would give all you 92ers something to look forward to, and to give the potential buyers something that they are missing out on :buttrock

I am looking for an Autox car too. Does it have the sun/moon roof or any other heavy options? Does vanos make the 93 models that much faster?

Thanks,

Christopher

Thanks for the bump. It does have the sunroof, but no power seats. It's bone stock and probably weighs as much as any E36 4 door. I believe the pre-Vanos cars also had 189 bhp. Others more knowledgable, feel free to chime in... :D

the vanos was a great advancement, it gives you a good kick of tq, but the non-vanos are known for being made with pretty hot cams, and the vanos unit is really the only thing that normally goes out in the e36s

still interested in car, but I really have to wait till spring I think, just can't do it right now because lack of place to put a car until I move after my lease is up. but we for sure have to meet some day, I love the 951s, not to say the 996 isn't even cooler, but the 951 is sort of something I have wanted to get for a while.

granted the girlfriend does need a car, maybe I can get her to buy it, then I will just start installing mods without telling her......

LOL! Good one. BTW, there's no rust on the car... With this weather, it may end up sitting until Spring anyway. You can check out the E36, and I'll be happy to show you the 951 as well. Its usually at the Badger Bimmer and Milwaukee PCA DE events as well...

Looking for a daily driver, does this car have any needs right now? What tires did you put on it? Where are you at on the price? Thanks, Mike

Fair price, good luck with the sale.

PS. you might want to fix your sig before it gets disabled.

There. Is that better? :D

Seriously, thanks for the kind words. With this weather, the car probably won't sell too quickly. For any of you that are interested, the car will NOT be driven at all this winter. It's in storage, but accessible if someone really wants to see it.

I really wouldn't want you to put a deposit on a car you haven't seen or driven. I guess I would make it refundable if you didn't like the car when you finally saw it. If it doesn't sell real soon, we'll talk.

I'm also interested. My current e36 is covered in rust, and I'm going to trade up in the spring. If it's still around in a few months, I will be very interested.

Lots of interest from the forum, but ultimately it was Craigslist to the rescue.
