getting it into canada would be tricky because it is modified. It will be one of the first questions that border patrol asks, and suspension is a giveaway. (they won't let you go through with modified suspension.) Call your border crossing for more info. I brought mine in and saw numerous modified vehicles sitting in a field (Porsche GT3, Mitsubishi Evo's, lifted trucks) that look like they had been sitting there for weeks as they probably got denied at border crossing due to suspension mods. Get Whoadude to put on stock springs before you bring across and you have a better chance of getting through.

My putting up the car for sale has nothing to do with the performance of the blower or any other part of the car. I absolutely love this car, I think the car is perfect!!! And if money was no object then I would keep her forever. But with marriage on the horizon for me as well as a new house, I thought it would be best to recoup some cash since we all know how expensive those two things can be. But like I stated in my first post I don't absolutely need to sell her, I have no interest in giving this car away to lowballers.

jon, why does this make you hesitant? the only reason i was trying to sell my car was because of economic issues that incidentally got ironed out, which is why i kept my car. had nothing to do with the performance of the kit. the kit is absolutely awesome, 400rwhp is knocking on my door.

Honestly, I couldnt tell the difference much from the stock clutch, the lightened flywheel of course makes a difference though. I have all stock parts except exhaust.

BMW carries a roof rack, and some have gotten the e46 Thule rack to fit. I just went skiing today. We didn't take my car, but I stuck my skis in the passenger seat to drive across town. My guess is that you could stick skis on the dash and through to the trunk, but it probably would make it hard to talk to one another.

Just out of curiosity, and I'm a bit of a noob outside of the E46 world, can the ASC (traction control) be turned back on? I noticed that you said it was disabled and I'm not too keen on street driving a high powered car without at least some sort of safety net.

Actually the throttle plate of the traction control (plate that closes air path during wheel spin) was removed. It is necessary to do this on both AA and Eurosport Twinscrews for sc fitment, not for more power. In my opinion, lifting your foot off the gas does the same thing as that system so its not really missed. Also, the brake system traction control can still be used.
