so i have a set of 2 year old HIDs and just recently Ive ben having some problems with them

they both light up just fine, dive about 5 mins and then the right side fails, turn the lights off and back on, and they both work again, 5 mins later it goes out again

checked for lose wires and the problem came back, fwiw temps are around 35-40 F

so my guess is a bad balest? dose this sound right? are there any ideas on expected life of these parts? (2-5 years? more?)

Many Thanks

probably a bad ballast.
expected life is 2k-3k hours but there are always duds.
good kits are available at reasonable prices now a days or you can try to fix the one you have.
