Anyone with an E46 M3 order this? The guys at UUCMotorwerks said their oil center would not fit an E46 M3 due to slight sealing differences and I don't want to find out the hard way with the one from RE (meaning I don't want oil to leak...)RE lists an oil filter top BMW E46 part # that the aluminum one replaces and says it fits a number of previous BMW's. I don't know much about either company and want to avoid the he said/she said debate between UUC and RE.

I have no idea if it will work or not... but it would be interesting to find out.

You should order it and let me know ;) I guess I'll just order it and when BMW changes the oil, ask them to install the new lid and inspect for correct fitment. My nightmare is an oil leak as a result of a cosmetic mod.
