Try www.bavauto.com
replacement rotors and pads including brake sensors should be around the nieghborhood of $325.00 (this is what I came up with for mine).
Good Luck
www.autohausaz.com also has good prices.
Or you could get an after-market (I don't recommend) Brembo kit on eBay, http://search.stores.ebay.com/FCP-Groton_e38_W0QQfciZ14QQfclZ4QQfsnZFCPQ20GrotonQQfs ooZ2QQfsopZ3QQftsZ2QQsaselZ13397707QQsofpZ0

what's wrong with brembo rotors? anyway... do you need all 4 corners or just fronts? when was the last time rotors where done? could they just be turned? my brake light also just came on. after a quick inspect and look over the prior service records, i just needed front pads/sensor. 115 bux (akebono's euro). you could get even cheaper

from my experience, turning the rotors will only save $$ today and ensure a warped set within a short time.
Better to replace the set and avoid warping... just my opinon.

true. my thought is if you just need fronts now, do them ,turn the rotors (little as possible) and by the time you need rears the fronts will prob need to be replaced. and i do it all at once :lol they shouldnt warp unless the tech milled some ungodly amount off...... sounds lame but it seemed to be my cycle. though on my sti i just did all 4 corners rotors/pads/switched to SS lines. if you want to spend the $$ it's not a bad idea. it's not that expensive for this car

Turning rotors - you mean machining them - sorry language difficulties - newbie!

Yes - autozone can "turn" or machine them for you.

I have the Power Slot Cryo rotors with Hawk HPS pads in the front and have the rears waiting to be installed. I also use ATE Super Blue brake fluid and have no complaints. The rotors look practically brand new even after 1.5 years of driving. Next flush I might get braided brake lines too.

I'm interested in this thread topic also. The aftermaket (not sure what brand were installed) rotors installed on my 740i were almost brand new when I purchased the car a year ago and they warped. Had them turned 10K ago and are beginning to pulse the pedal again, so this time I'm looking for good replacement rotors as well.

I had good luck alternating rotor replacement between pad changes in my E32 (pads/pads&rotors/pads/pads&rotors) and never had a rotor problem. I put Powerslot cryo's on our Z3 after putting them on my Ford Excursion along with Hawk Street pads and have been very happy with the combination. We used to have all kinds of problems with "warping" (it's really hot spot material transfer) on the Z3 and the Excursion was horrible with the same issue. The Powerslot Cryo's cured both.
If you are an "enthusiastic" driver you should change your rotors along with your pads. What really happens is that the rotors don't actually warp, they develop hot spots which does two things - it allows the rotors to wear unevenly( the hot spots lose temper and wear faster creating low spots) and it facilitates material transfer from the brake pads (particularly with metallic pads) onto the surface of the rotor which creates high spots causing the pulsing feeling that we all know and loath.
Whatever pad rotor combination you choose - make sure you bed the new pads properly.
