It can be fixed. That doesn't look overly horrible.

Damn, that sucks dude. I know how it feels, but when someone rear ended my first e21, it wasn't nearly as clean as yours.

What happened exactly?

any neck pain? i hear that's worth a few bucks.

The same thing (well, to a little less degree) happened to me last year. It's rebuildable, no worries.

I'm sorry about that. Your in Atlanta or near it right? Go to the pull a part yard and hack off/cut off what you need. A good body/frame shop should be able to weld it back on. They do this all the time now, because fwd cars the whole $$$ part of the car is the front. Will you be getting insurance money for this? Use that to pay the shop, and then you can re-assemble. No worries! :redspot David

That sucks man. If you decide to rebuild it and need help, I'm at Tech, so just give me a shout.

Pardon the thread hijack, but another GT student, E21 owner? Very nice. I'm co-oping in Huntsville right now, but I'm certainly eager to get back on campus in the spring.

Hey guys, Yea she got pinched pretty good. And yea i was trying to sell her, but this has just made me love her even more. I don't know what i was thinking. What happened was i was pulling out of the drive way of the KFC, I see the car in the left lane and pull out, As i am pulling out see decides to switch lanes and smacks that crap out of my car. Everyone was ok. But my baby is hurt, and it is my duty to make her feel better. i guess while she is up i might as well go head and do a 5 speed swap.

the most important part is that you are ok. the car doesn't look that bad, you might need a radiator support (plus radiator maybe?) front valence can be bent back into shape plus a fender, and just go euro bumper or bumperless....'
you put so much time on the paint and did so much work to let it go

It happens all the time, don't ever pull out when theres a car in the left lane! They always change at the worst moment.
