Ive tried everything on my 95 740 and i cant get that alarm fixed. So maybe this is it...Check out the fuel door lock. see if it locks when you set you alarm. if it doesnt you may have a bad actuator. i just ordered one tonight off oembimmerparts.com this could be why the alarms keep going off on our e38's
