hey guys, i have a 530I 2004, and i am planning to take off the 530I emblem on the back, i was curious if it had holes behind the emblem or is it just double sided sticky tape. More info would be great. Thanks

I think it's just taped on.. Grab some dental floss and just saw back and forth with it.. Did it on my friends car, and it worked great!

held on by tape -- heat up with blow dryer first ... and then use dental floss (gently)... I would wait until summer to remove though.

Why do people take off their badges?

Nosoup is right. Debadge makes the rear end look cleaner, less busy. I debage all my vehicles :)

Cleaner look, as they said above...

Hairdryer then dental floss, followed by goo-gone and polish to remove the residue, then some wax to blend in the spot, done

WD-40 works great at removing the glue.

put it on a towel and hold it on the glue for about 20 seconds...the glue practically melts off.
