So on sat I need a boost for my car I knew my battery was going and should have replaced it but thats another strory. Regardless i got a boost and was on my way to get a new battery but to my LUCK everything was closed or closing so i said i just have to wait for Monday. Now Monday is here I went to start my car and nothing, I tried boosting it and nothing!!! All I get is a ticking sound and the lights on my dashboard come on. Now could this be a battery problem still or my starter which i replaced the starter about 1 year ago!! Me dont like Monday Morongs, im currently waiting for the tow truck!

Sounds like the battery to me. You might have to connect the car to a donor for 10-15 minutes to pump enough charge into the battery to be able to start the car. A quick hit with jumper cables probably won't work.

ditto...and make sure the donor car is running the whole time it is hooked up to your car. Your battery has exhausted it's reserve capacity. If you've unlocked your OBC, you'll probably see doing TEST #9 that your battery's voltage is below 11.89 volts...which at that point...the battery is a 0% state of charge.
