Thought I would test waters here before listing my Bimmer.

I love the car but.......... I wan't to go to new body style 7 and basically do same look.

It will be sad day:(

Not a primary car, approx 75K original miles, winter package gray leather, 20 Staggered Movens with Falkens, H 7 R stage 2 springs, stainless YRK exhaust, Umitza angel eyes.

HAve stock suspension, whels and mufflers.

Not sure if I am ready yet but here goes some picts.........more can be sent for right offer

whats your price? are you asking us to name prices? need more details to say what price i would pay. im guessing in the 10k range? maybe more perhaps.

might make sense to pull off those wheels and sell them separately.

Might want to add a year and a price.

I couldn't replace it for 15K. I would price it agressively at 17,500.

there is a 01 740il with sport package on 20s lowered with 76k miles in the for sale section for 15000 obo...no one has even taken a bite on that car....theres no way you will get anything close to 17500 for a 98 740i...but good luck man:buttrock

Didn't mean to offend with the 10k guesstimate. Maybe 12k is more accurate, certainly no higher than that IMHO. You're going to get way more $$$ by selling the aftermarket parts (like wheels and springs) separately

this is O.T - Dophin what's up with your exhaust tips in the pic in your sig? I could'nt see my stock top because they were hidden by the bumper, did you do something to yours? I like the pic btw.

They are extenders that the previous owner put on. I'm not a huge fan of them. I want to get cut outs and quads as soon as i can find a place to use a dremel

I thought I would start on this forum where the entuisiasts are.......you guys have too much market value knowledge!!

I could probaly sell it quicker by putting at my buddies Import lot alongside a major road. Just not that ready to sell.

I see a 98 with 62k going for 18,500 so you might get lucky...

...and now I see a 98 with 43k going for 12k.

I guess it all depends on who's selling it and how much the buyer knows about 7's.

you would be lucky to get $12k.....very lucky.

just because there are mods, that doesnt mean that your resale increases.

people who mod cars almost NEVER get back what they put into it.....

i think your price is very high depends who looks at it you might get lucky however again very high price but u never know who will see it anyways you shouldn't sell it car looks nice dude

Just thinkin now is a good time to get back what I have in the car as it runs perfectly and there is no major issues.

Other thing is I only use the car occassionaly once a week or so about 15 miles. So it's basically a toy.

Which also brings me to the other conclusion that if I buy a 745 I will be spending at least 25-30K before I even put wheels on it and I will have a hard time justifying having three cars in my driveway and this one........ a fourth would sit in the garage.

I don't even drive my current bimmer in the rain or take it to events where I know it might get dinged while n the parking lot!:nono (wifes Expedition is used for that)

wow, yeah +1 no way you'd get 17.5. i paid 13 for my 00 sport in mint condition. and mods bring down resale value. 12 MAAAAAAYYBEEE. if you get that, buy that one dudes 745 for 22 ;)

They are Movens SR5's got them in California, can't rememeber the distributor they came with Falkens also.

There nice but I would have rather had a stainless lip. The aluminum is hard to take care of and very easily scratched.

Next wheels when I get a Black 745 or 6 will be the MHT Black stoked. They are sweeeeeet
