I don't think they'll fit your car. The listing is not right because the same shock won't fit a '77 and '78. '77s (USA) and 323's share the same shocks, and '78-'83 320i's have another one. I'm not positive about your euro 318 but I suspect it has the lighter duty struts.

The listing says they were off a 10/76 320 which means these are probably the beefier 323 style shocks. Somebody got a great deal if they are really in good condition.

I am the lucky buyer. If it turns out that i cant use them on my car (it sounds like that is what is going to happen) Ill keep them until someone on here needs them. I figured what the hell. $25 plus shipping. I happened to have that much burning a hole in my pocket. If they dont work its not a big lose because someone on here will want them eventually.

There is a member on here that previously asked if he could purchase the springs after the Holidays. If that member stills wants them I am obligated to hold them for him. If not then we will make a deal. Otherwise, I'll just pay you for them.

I will keep you in mind but it does sound like cj really wants them. If you happen to have other suspension goodies lying around that would make for a cool trade too. Except for a rear sway bar my suspension is completely stock. Because your car is gorgeous and it is in a commercial i would really like to have a piece that was once used on your car on mine. You want these really bad and I want a piece of your car on mine. Sounds kind of weird but Im sure you understand.

Not nuts (I figured someone would take that the wrong way) I just happen to love e21's. That is one of the most well know e21's around. I envy it greatly. Any one who does not is probably not an e21 enthusiast.

i'll take lowering springs from someone for christmas :) :)
