OK, I used some compound to get out a scratch that I had. It got the scratch out, but now I have a dull spot from where the compound was used. I tried using a wax to fix it, but it did not work. Anyone have some help on how I get this spot to go away.

You'll need to use a mild polish to restore the shine the compound took away. If the wax you used didn't work, it's probably because it doesn't contain abrasives.

Yep, you'll need to step up the abrasiveness slightly to remove the now dull spot. Try a swirl remover or polish to make the section be glossy again, then use wax to protect the spot. Most waxes have either very little or no abrasiveness so they won't really shine up a dull spot too well.
