I don't think there should have been an M3/4 in the E36 style, so I'll also vote no for the new one.

Why isn't 5-door an option? The M3 Touring would be fantastic.

Elaborate.

BTW, i think the 330i Performance Pack will be filling in the spot for an E46 M3 sedan. The E46 Coupe and Sedan are very different from each other, unlike the E36 coupe and sedan.

I remember reading somewhere that the E36 4 door was more rigid than the coupe

That would be cool. Or even an M5 Touring would be cool too.

As do I, M3D.

The 4 door E46 M3 won't happen, but I wish it could. This would help it stand out against the vette and other cars it is often compared to, making people realize this car has 4 seats and a useable trunk, despite all it's capabilities. While that's still true in the coupe, the lack of rear doors has a tendancy to make people forget this.

E46 4-Door M3 (Probably fake photo or rebadged 330 - take it for what it's worth):

While I understand BMW's reason for not building one, I seriously would like a E46 M3 Sedan.

I personally think the M5 is too soft for heavy track use. I prefer to call it a Sport LUXURY sedan. We need a Sport Sport sedan, and while it is going to be one helleva car, I don't think the 330i HP is going to cut it, for me at least. All it really needs is an S54. :D

M3 coupe isn't really a true 2 seater sports car IMO. It can never be put into the same 2 door style category as the Z06 or any Ferrari, etc. It just doesnt have that profile. That goes for all M3's. I have an E36 M3/4 because I liked the lines of the sedan better then the coupe (which I already owed) and love the touring factor. E46 M3/4 would be fine. Should see nothing wrong with it. E46 M3 is a fat turd anyways.

I too prefer sedans over coupes, but that is just me.

Hey Portal,
ClubZ is having another T-Hill event on 5-27. I know you wanted to come out last time, so I figured you might still be interested. Let me know if you want more information or you can see the thread in the Track Forum.

Just another topic of conversation, the coupe is longer and heavier than the sedan...
