my friend is recommending blackfire wax for black or red cars... i've never seen it in person, but he tells me that it'll get my car a mirror finish. has anyone tried this product? it's not too bad.. around 25 bucks.

First of all, Blackfire isn't a wax, its a polymer sealant like Zaino and Klasse. Being a polymer it will last longer than waxes.

Honestly, I've never tried it but it certainly has its fair share of followers on Autopia. I doubt you would be disappointed with the results it gives you, just make sure you start of with a good swirl remover/polish.

You can check out the forums at www.autopia.org for some more info. Run a search and you'll find all sorts of stuff about sealants.

yes.. blackfire is not a wax. But anyways.. here's a pic after I blackfire'd my Z. Works really well! I recommend it for black or red cars. Really brings out the shine and depth. Also.. application is easy.. no wait time required. It hazes in about 30 secs. I recommend claying the car first for a super slipper finish with Blackfire. I got the New car Kit @ www.properautocare.com

comes with everything you need with microfiber towels too!:buttrock

The guru reports are performing another wax test and it includes blackfire.
