View Full Version : New M3 for OKC
jskibo 12-01-2007, 01:06 AM Headed out next Saturday to LA to pick up my M3. '95 Hellrot on Black, 5 speed. Going to be a quick run back starting late afternoon in LA. Should be a fun ride, hope the Valentine 1 arrives in time! :D
That will add to the German collection. Wife has a '95 525i/5 (Green / Tan).
I also have a '86 190e 2.3-16 Cosworth.
speedster 12-01-2007, 10:38 AM need a co driver? la is a good ways. i flew to chicago and drove it back that day, its a good way to get to know the car. i assume the whole cooling system has been done
jskibo 12-01-2007, 12:04 PM Thanks.
I'm not quite as young as I used to be, but I can make that run in a day. Great chance to see how she runs and handles.
Yep, the whole cooling system has been replaced, and recent.
Chipped, 540 HFM, Euro Airbox. Might be fun. Really interested in seeing how the handling compares to the SLS system in the Cosworth.
JedzE36/5 12-01-2007, 04:21 PM welcome. ide love to see that Cosworth!

Silo55 12-02-2007, 02:25 PM Its an OBD1 thing...you wouldn't understand :D
I do understand, I'm OBD1 myself :)
I love your licence plate on the 190, great looking car!
JedzE36/5 12-03-2007, 12:40 AM wow that 190 is in great condition. very nice!
ceniack 12-11-2007, 08:32 PM i guess i am the only odd duck out that runs OBDII on his M
jskibo 12-11-2007, 08:47 PM Its home now! Can't get it in the garage until I clear some trees.
I think everything I own is OBD1....at least now.
I bought a new head for the 16 Valve (was burning about a Qt between changes and I couldn't beat the price on a fresh head). When I get some time I will install that. Might end up selling or trading it before spring. Maybe I'll get an OBD II M3 :D

5k????
LOL...ummmm :( not that low
There are some on 190revolution.net close to that price. Needs a bit of work though.
jskibo 12-13-2007, 01:20 AM I'm begining to think a nice AA C38 Stage 1 kit will make for a fine spring project. Anyone in the area running S/C?
JedzE36/5 12-13-2007, 10:36 AM in my mini. :)
jskibo 12-13-2007, 11:50 AM Easy install? How do you like it?
JedzE36/5 12-13-2007, 12:19 PM haha the mini cam supercharged but i imagine that the install is pretty straight forward. i am a little biased because i am a supercharger guy. i love the whine it makes and i love the power. efficiency isnt its bright spot but oh well.
Silo55 12-13-2007, 03:46 PM Turbo FTW! Very deep pockets needed FTL!
