Just went by their place today. Great guys. They had my part ready and waiting for me there and I got a pretty good price on it. I'll have to remember that place...It's like BMW alley down that street...a ton of BMW salvage yards to choose from.

do you guys have directions to these places? do they also buy bmw parts too? (sun valley locations)

NickAD

I believe they do buy parts....I asked them about taking my stock rims off my hands and they mentioned they would give me cash for them depending on their condition...

It is located off of Branford street though...12301 Branford to be exact. Branford is off of San Fernando.

Take 5 north exit Brandford make a right go staright down until you hit SanFernando Rd. Once you pass San Fernando Rd. the JunkYard's begin. There is S & R Auto Dismantel guys name is Andre big guy with goatie, hes right infront of the lunch trunk about 30 yards from San Fernando Rd on Brandford hes good guy gave me a headliner for free.

But say for a 328i or any other E36 it shouldent be that hard to find them, and they should be cheap RIght :D I wish there was a pick and take type yard for BMW's that would e great.

Yeah, I was thinking more about stuff for the e30. Those are fairly common even at Ecology.

Yeah, I was thinking more about stuff for the e30. Those are fairly common even at Ecology.

you shouldnt have a problem with finding parts for E30's their all over the place. The bad thing about E30 is if you need a part thats hard to find and wheny ou do find it its going to be expensive, so in some cases its just better to buy a whole E30 and take the part you need and get rid of rest. Ive had a friend do that so it kinda sucks.

Ps. I have a E30 Vert and a crashed E30 coupe let me know what you need i might have it.

Last time I went to harouts (years ago) some guy working there picked up a salvage e36 m3 (cosmos) and wanted to restore it or something. I wonder if he still has the thing.

My OC Wrecker list:

*German & Korean Auto
(714) 847-2525
7671 Liberty Ave
Huntington Beach, CA

This guy is a dick, PERIOD.

I suggest you call ahead and get a good price then get the part. otherwise if you just show up, he'll jack you up, and cries "labor costs, blah, blah, etc" (as if he employees BMW certified techs, but instead he really has some messican dudes working for nothing)

if you speak spanish, ask the messican dudes for parts, but bring cash!

He has tons of E36 parts, E38s E39, but he gets complete cars, i got my entire E36 interior conversion (dash and door panels and every bit of trim needed) from this character...

I also came up on a E34 540i 6 speed that I parted out..

do cars totalled by the insurance company get sold to these kinds of junkyards? last year my AASC z3 got totalled and if I can find it at a local junk yard, I'd pay to get some of the parts back.

Sometimes they do, or maybe a shop may buy it, or maybe even auction, lots of options out there. Probably long gone by now though and you won't be seeing it again.

PJ at All Toyo Lex.

He has a lot of BMW/European vehicles besides the Toyotas and Lexuses (Lexi?). toll free 877-778-6968 m-f 8-5. He also ships nationwide if necessary.

PJ used to have an awesome 318ti which he had converted with a 99 M3 drivetrain, M Coupe exhaust, M bumpers/mirrors/interior and painted a nice blue metallic. He ended up selling the car though to someone from the Chicago area. His 2 latest toys are a C32 benz and a way modified 190.

Bringing this ancient thread back up, I just went to see these guys (before reading this thread) and the guy tried to rip me off. I need to fuel door actuator ($54 brand new from my local BMW parts supplier), I called this "character" up and he said "yeah no problem man, we got lots of E36s" but when I show up, they couldn't even tell me if they had the part, then the guy told me "tell you what man, for you, $100". I replied "what? I can get it brand new for $54!" he said "go for it!"... what a jerk!

I left without buying anything from these guys. Stupid company wasted an hour of my time! :mad

Anyway, I highly recommend against going to these guys. They charge more than the dealer price for new parts!!!

Wish I had read all the way through the thread before going down there. On the phone, the guy quotes me $25 for a used windshield reservoir for a 2000 323i. Best other price online is $35. I get there, today, and he says $75. When I say he told $25 on the phone, he told me I misheard him.

NEVER DO BUSINESS AT THIS PLACE. Go to the dealer if you have to!

I'm going to try the other places listed here.

Nu Way in Willmington = Super Honest (Jack and Gary)

I just am back from Nu Way in Willmington. They are super honest. I bought a used S52 long block after looking at in in the car. They took it out for me, and I took it home. All seemed well. I popped off the intake manifold and at some point someone had used JB Weld to seal up a crack in the head. They took it back for a full refund. I was impressed.

+1 I just bought a used E36M3 from Jack... super nice guy, very honest during the sale, and nice family too!
It was refreshing to deal with someone like him after my terrible experience with German & Korean auto (see a few posts above).

I'll definitely be down to their yard at some point for some parts!
