Investigating an oil leak on the '72 and believe it to be coming from a few places. Valve cover gasket and the oil pressure sender. Bought both parts today and plan on getting the hands dirty tommorrow. Any chores related so I don't waste precious man-hours? I was thinking about adjusting the valves. I'm also going to delete a makeshift "oil sperator/filter" that was rigged from beneath the distributor, ran through a filter of some sort, and a tube then run along the firewall down under the car. Gonna run the tube directly from the nipple underneath the distributor into the nipple underneath the airfilter atop the carb. Gonna be fun! Anything else I am missing?
