halos are dimmed like a tubed light sometimes...... i think its because of the cold help!!!!!!

Hopefully, the place you bought them from will be helpful. I bought from Habbie here on the forums and he stands behind his products. When one of my AE went dim, he suggested several things to check and offered to send a new pair of ballasts if the checked things proved not to be the problem. I would check your wiring. Apparently the pin connectors (on the two single wires coming out of each ballast) can be a problem and may be eliminated and the connection hardwired (eliminate pin connector by crimping, soldering and heatshrinking) and the ballasts themselves can be a problem. My guess is that ballasts are not that expensive.
