E30, E36, or E46 M3? I own an E46 M3 and can go over there if that's what you're looking for. I'm very familiar with them and used to work at a high-line dealership. :)

I would really appreciate if someone could give a first hand impression of the car. I would hate to drive for 9 hours only to find that the car is a POS...

If you want it inspected by a mechanic, Contact Seth at JB Eurotech. He's on this forum. Go to http://www.jbeurotech.com/ . You could probably send him a credit card number and charge the inspection. He'll work with you and make sure you get your car inspected correctly, I'm sure. :)

Do you think he would pick the car up or would the seller have to take it to him? How far is it from Saint Paul?

I'm not sure how they could check it out, but I'm sure you can call him and try and work something out.

From St. Paul, it's only a 10-20min drive. Not that far. It depends on where in St. Paul.

We do inspections for out of state buyers all the time, You should have the seller bring the car over and we will inspect it and give them the car back, We will then email you a complete report of the car. We share no info with the owner of the car YOU are our customer and the only one entitled to the findings. We cahrge $84 and can be done over the phone with a credit card.

I haven't written you one yet. I'm still waiting for the owner to give me his contact information so I can forward it to Jason (Brandjas18) so they can arrange a meeting. I'll let him decide when would be a preferable time for him to drop the car off.
