I had an ice chest in my trunk this weekend that spilled and it fried one of the components in my Navigation system. I didn't realize that there are electronics in the trunk. Make sure you don't put anything back there that can spill. It's going to cost me $512 to fix.

You're not the only one. I've seen about 4 MPMs replaced in about 2 months time because water got into the spare tire well and fried it. I just posted in a thread where the guy had the same problem. Did they relocate the MPM to the fenderwell area?

Get a tray/mat for your trunk. They'll hold large spills. Good insurance.
