View Full Version : Hello from a new supporting vendor A_kaup 04-03-2003, 01:11 PM We are happy to be new supporting vendors on Bimmerforums.com, we are Hoen and we hope you consider our lighting products. Thank you Andreas http://www.hoen-usa.com MDabney 04-04-2003, 04:08 PM Andreas, Welcome to Bimmerforums as our latest supporting vendor. We are looking forward to a long partnership helping you grow your company. - Mike D. Walden 04-06-2003, 05:05 PM hello all how r these bulbs? are they good? do they burn out fast? BimmerDawg 04-08-2003, 09:29 PM It's about tie someone came out with a foglight bulb that matched the intensity of xenons...that just always looks wrong to me...welcome to BimmerForums! gbrown.dsl 04-08-2003, 11:13 PM I have them in my Dads 740 and they are awesome. Andreas also covers the bulb for 1 year so needless to say he is confident they wont burn up like cheapo bulbs can. A_kaup 04-09-2003, 12:34 PM We have a very low failure rate and most failures are due to damage from mishandling (why we no longer use some shippers) and not from actual component failure. No matter, if they fail within a year you get new ones from us. If you take look up close to our bulbs (if you can find competitors posting sharp close ups) you will see we overbuild our bulbs to last. The cost difference is pennies for higher quality glass and tungsten filaments so we use it across the line but price the bulbs intelligently. dave is cool 04-19-2003, 08:10 PM Do you make these bulbs for a 95 M3? A_kaup 04-21-2003, 11:41 AM All BMW's in fact. joe325i 04-21-2003, 11:45 AM i checked out your site.. are they dot approved? either way holy shit thats a great price and i love the warentee we need more companies like you ;P NoSoup4U 04-21-2003, 11:48 AM Welcome - Quick question, is the 9006 the lo-beam bulb for E36's? I believe it is, do you not offer the 9005 (hi-beam I believe) bulb? Also, for the H7's -- will these match up with the light output of the 9006's you sell? (for people that have done the H7 light conversions). joe325i 04-21-2003, 11:52 AM 9006 is us spec low beam 9005 is us spec high beam both for e36 people have done the h7 fog light mod where you drill out the housing, cut off the ground plug and crimp on a female spayed connector. A_kaup 04-21-2003, 12:29 PM At this time we specialized in fog lights in order to match HID lights and reduce the yellow look. In the near future we are releasing high wattage bulbs for main beams perhaps in conjunction with a special harness but we are running into DOT issues for main beams but we are working on certification. NoSoup4U 04-21-2003, 01:26 PM One more question: All Höen Xenonmatch bulb fitments are sold in pairs and are subject to $7 UPS shipping. Is this PER item I purchase, e.g., I would like the 9006 bulbs and H7 bulbs. Is shipping $14 or is it still $7? Thanks! A_kaup 04-21-2003, 02:19 PM only $7. Im still working on sourcing a better online purchase solution. E-mail me please and I will set up a special order page for you needs. Please note that we dont recommend using our bulbs for main beam use. They are not as bright as factory main beams and while the color will resemble HID's the output will be less than stock. Our new bulbs coming out will be main beam specific however.
