Quagmire is the best ever! :buttrock Reminds me of when I was single. :devillook

Congratulations! :redspot

-hot side use mild or stainless steel.
-cold side use aluminum.
-intercooler get from ebay for less than $100 (they work fine!)

Manifold is a typical Log. The intercool looks like an older Bell, or Callaway water to air unit. They work pretty good and keep the charge temp the same if you use a thermostaticlly controlled pump on the thing. Also makes the pipe path ass short.

Downpipe use a three inch unit. You can tune it a variety of ways.

probably make mid 300's at the wheels with 12-14psi.. You'll have fun with it!

My E28 535turbo is a fun car with 9psi.

Where did you get those items? They were not from the forum correct? Any specs for that turbocharger? Good luck with the build!

Silly M30 owners :)

Who is it from?

From Hari... You posted in the thread.

Seriously, any m30 guys have pictures of there pipe routing?

The turbo is likely a T04b-H3 with a P Trim turbine. It'll support 325rwhp without any problems but it's quite laggy compared to a T04e with a 60 trim or GT35R wheel. The rotomaster wastegate is fine. Email me if you are interested in a downpipe.

Its basicly like the TCD setup. Turbo on bottom and wastegate on top with a very sturdy cast manifold. The Turbo is a bit older but i'll still love it the same, especally for the price.

I just have one question for you turbo M30 guys. How did you plumb the oil return. Just tap the oil pan on the block (which fitting), or remove the oil pan and have one welded on (i really dont wan't to), what location is ideal? how do the TCD kits do this?

I know there are a ton of pictures around here somewhere, definitely on mye28.com as well. If you don't find anything, I'll post when I get off work.

I tapped my oil pan with an aluminum fitting. Be very careful and use lots of axle grease to catch all the shavings. Mine never leaked but I will be welding on the bung during this tear down. The difference between N/A m30 and only 7 psi is astounding. I was thrilled at 7 psi...then I got greedy and wanted more...14 months and $2X,XXX later I still have to rebuild. Enjoy. Be content with the 7-10 PSI. That is all any sane person needs.:devillook

We have slowly developed our m50 kit. It's complete. Just finished fitting the production exhaust today. I need to bury my head in the website and finish it so it can launch along with the new kit.
