hey guys i ve seen the turbod violet cars of a32guy and kingston and ive decided to jump in the forced induction race...i have a 98 m3 sedan with only 60k miles on it....
i was putting a new bumper on it and decided to keep the bumper off and start a turbo project...
i live in the town next to 666 fabrications so this weekend im gonna to them and talk to them about the intake but beside that i already have bov turbo timer and intercooler....im gonna hafta run stock internals just because im in college and i hafta finish this project before next semester but im thinking of what turbo to put in .... on stock internals i dont plan on having a high boost so i was thinking garret gt35r will be way to big....does anyone have any suggestions on what turbo to go for

... and ill start taking pics of the project once its gets going for real

A nice sized T3/T4 should do it... .63/.50 will make you ~400 on a stock engine with race gas, and like 340 on pump.

this is before the bumper is takin off ... once the manifold comes im gonna start workin on that

IF ANYONE HAS ANY PARTS FOR A TURBO FOR SALE ILL BE VERY INTERESTED I HAVE THE MANIFOLD , BOV, TURBO TIMER, AND INTERCOOLER....NEED PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING ELSE...I GUESS IM GONNA GO FOR A T3 TURBO NOTHING TO BIG BECAUSE OF STOCK INTERNALS SO LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING

I figured that was you. I mean how many purple M3's are there within 25 miles? Although there is another guy with a 2 door Daytona Violet that I always see in Milford, haha.

are ball bearing turbos better for m3s???

depending on size... ball bearing turbos only help to spool faster.

He works at costcos I have talked to him before. Thought that was you because I haven't seen any other M's in that color in this area.

Ahh yes, one of my friends told me they saw a DV M3 at costco one night. Makes sense now.

hey guys so ive decided to get my turbo and now i just need to get the rest of the parts i need so this is were i need a sweet CHECKLIST of a turbo build ill start and if any can add anything thatd great....im doing stock internals and about 10 pounds of boost so im just looking for what i need to finish this build

am i missing anything please add so i can get them before i tear my car apart lol thanks guys

injectors? maybe fuel pump too.
