Well, I ended up getting some stuff done today like washing and throwing a coat of wax on, so I said to the girl that she needs some pictures taken. She may be stock, but boy do I love her!

First, it started out at the park

We then settled home while it went to sleep for the night :)

Very clean. That shine is awesome.

Get some rubbing compound for the rear bumper to get the scuff marks out. If they are scuff marks.

Failed clear coat I'm afraid :( Already tried rubbing compound, polish, everything. I'm probably just going to rattle can it with lots of wet sanding.

Polished Aluminum :redspot

Speaking of which, I need a really good polishing kit to restore them.

I'm glad it's cold there. We've just had a few 40 degree days here, probably headed towards around 48 like last summer. (Celcius).

back on topic, fantastic job on the waxing. Came up trumps.

The real trick is finding out what wax I used.

A few months ago I had buffed the car with M83, applied M7 by hand, and topped off with M26. Once every week or two (usually after I wash it), I top it off with Meguiar's Quik Wax and maintain with Quick Detailer. Last time I didn't do to great of a job claying and the car has just been bombarded lately with all the miles I've put on it, so come around my Birthday/Christmas, I'll be stocking up on some nifty new toys and supplies to do a proper prep. Almost positive I will be going out to get a pressure washer and water tank (no hose with apartments), Hi-Tech Body Sponge, and a few more buffing toys.

I'll probably buy her a few gifts too (front lisence plate delete for sure!). Ssshh, gotta keep them a secret; its for Christmas!
