well i tryed everything and sped alot of money, so now my last resort;
E36 M42 trans, i have a 318i laying around
so far i know that the trans fit,now the problem is that i have no idea what clutch to put, am not certain if the M42 flywheel fits, so could i use the M50 flywheel with M42/4 clutch or M50 clutch aout of a 325i

also i now the trans is weak it will only handle 250Hp max so i think"""""""

assuming that the tranny is the same as the one on my car (M42s all had the same tranny, I think m44s may be a little different) then it can only handle about 170 ft-lbs of torque on the stock clutch. I don't know about any of the other stuff, but good luck!
