I have a '05 545i. I paired my Blackberry Pearl 8130 (Verizon) unit, and everything seemd fine (even the address book, caller id etc...). I get in the car today and no address book; just a giant speaker phone. I re-setup the BT feature, but I cant get the phone book back. Bummed! :( Any tips on how I might re-initialize this? Thanks! Tom 530goinon850 04-10-2008, 08:24 AM Good post! I have a Pearl 81xx (AT&T, about a year old) and I recently bought an 06 530Xi, but I just can't pair those with each other. Maybe I'm entering the wrong passcode? What password should I be entering when pairing the device? Where can I find the necessary password? lakebum431 04-10-2008, 10:18 AM I tried out my wifes Verizon Pearl this weekend and it worked fine (just like my Verizon 8830). As far as the passcode it is whatever you want it to be. You will enter it on the phone when it requests and then enter it on the car (through IDrive). 530goinon850 04-10-2008, 07:57 PM oh, so its the same passcode and you can put anything you want in there? I think I tried that and it didn't work... oh well, guess, I'm just not tech-savvy enough to get this thing working on my own LOL |
