View Full Version : Need to get rid of a HDTV, Baltimore area
RRSperry 11-24-2007, 11:53 PM I got a new tv and need to get rid of one. The tv is a Mitsubishi WS-55909 Diamond screen 55" HDTV. It's about 5 years old, and is still really good. It's just too big for the house we moved into. It has built in HDTV tuner, PiP, comonent video, s video, ... You can look it all up.
I paid $4500 when new, for all you marb's I'll take the first $300, and you come pick it up... (you'll need a pickup) I have all manuals, and remotes.

geftman 11-25-2007, 02:43 AM 300 or 3000? if it's 300 i call dibs, if it's 3000 i'm POOR
ohnoes 11-25-2007, 02:44 AM Damn, this is tempting. Don't know if I can fit a 55" projection TV in my 10x12" room, though. :lol
RRSperry 11-25-2007, 08:41 AM Yes I said $300. Available after Monday, probably Monday night. Prefer cash so I don't have to deal with PayPal fees. Whoever takes it, bring a friend...
New TV is also a Mitsu. A 52" 1080P LCD LC 52244 120Hz refresh, HDMi1.3... Pretty decent deal this weekend. Tv, stand, delivery, setup, $4400. That includes a 5 year warranty, and no payments or interest until 1-2010... It's like free money.
Rabid Irish 11-25-2007, 09:00 AM I can pick it up on friday. Does that work for you?
RRSperry 11-25-2007, 09:37 AM Seems like Geftman has first dibs. If he is serious, send me a PM or call me. If I don't hear from him today, it's yours. I'm going to move it to the garage, so maybe I'll just have to get Direct TV out there...lol

Rabid Irish 11-28-2007, 04:07 AM Sorry guys I 100% intend to pick this up friday. :)
RRSperry I sent you a pm.
Rabid Irish 11-28-2007, 04:20 AM LOL I looked up the specs on the tv.......Little confused. So it says it's a 55in screen right, then how come the width dimension is a little under 50in?? Am I missing something here? Or do they rate big screens 5in's larger than they really are? This isn't a problem, just curious thats all.
EDIT: NM I just figured out it's a diagonal measurment. lol
RRSperry 11-29-2007, 08:14 AM Update, Rabid Irish had a death in the family, and is passing on the TV. I'm contacting the next person in line. (determined by time stamp on post or PM= Ketchup1)
NoSoup4U 11-29-2007, 08:20 AM rrsperry - let me know if my offer might work (provided no one comes and picks it up). As mentioned in my pm - full price plus the amount I disclosed if you can or know someone that would be willing to deliver.
Thanks,
James
Rabid Irish 11-29-2007, 08:36 AM Bump for you, and I do appologize but family always comes first. Whoever picks this up enjoy it!
RRSperry 11-29-2007, 09:38 AM James, I don't think that amount would really cover gas from Westminster to Reston and back...lol
