as far as I can remember it was ~30 something.. it's pretty good esp. their lobsters and dessert compare to the other buffets. But really you;re paying a good part of it on the ambiance, high ceiling, sky lighting.. otherwise it's about in the same league as any other buffet on the Strip, food-wise.

Yeah Marq is correct, its rougly anywhere from $30.00-$40.00 per person. I haven't ate there in a while since I was with my relatives there but they do have really great seafood.

But I think still today the main Rio casino buffet is probably still the biggest & the best in Las Vegas.

Just the bolt. I'm getting the diff bushing, subframe bushings, and RTAB's replaced while he's in there as well. Putting in the Powerflexes. :evil2

It feels weird having the shop do the work for me. I feel like Kevo now. :shifty

I just talked with the owner of the dealership just an hour ago he said he's going to get me a spare tire but my friend Mike Bosley got me a set for the front for good price.

i guess that goddamn check should mean some new goddamn tires then huh??? or rims

Pretty much lol.. Makes me mad because I pulled like 14 hrs overtime & hell has to go to my tires lol. I'm doing my research on wheels.. Your right also about those CSL wheelse on umnitza they're good price on there.. I'll think about those but got some others on my mind.. CSL's, BBS CH's, Miro wheels, or SportMax. Still scratching my head on which ones i want to go with lol.

It was an LS. But now it has the b20 motor from a CRV. But its not modified or anything. But it eats more gas than the LS. One day I want to modify the motor. It's just sitting in my garage.

Midnight Mayhem. Ive been to that a long time ago. Back in 1995 while I was here for a class. I ran my LS integra and did a 16.6 E.T. I would sure want to try my 545i and see what I can get. How many people are going tonight? I want to go. How much is it anyways. Back then it was $10.

BTW. back then soon after the midnight mayhem, Lotus Performance Shop did a race there at Las Vegas Speedway for the first ever import race in Vegas. Archie Madrazo was there with his crx and was doing low 13's. everyone was like "wow thats fast!"

Very nice.. Yeah B20 swaps in integra or civic hatch are the best. Now B20 built turbo is the best way to go i think for FI on honda motor.. most people be going built LS turbo but eh..

I wonder of MM was cancelled tonight due to all the stupid rain.. some idiot today rear ended me in my dads truck, did some significant damage to his car & did a few scratches to my dads rear trunk.. well when you run into tow hinch thats what happens lol. People like tail gated while raining well they pay the price.

You should talk to JDizzle more, he's been in the Honda scene for a very long time as well. He can tell you all about it hehe.
Well with 2004 545i you should easily do 15s with no problem I would think.

Also to mention Leo, welcome to Sunde Reisen as well.

Hey Jessie quick question. Hey the stupid ass sales manager at Kiana Auto left me a voicemail saying that since I already signed paperwork he says he's not able to get me my spare tire. I mean i got my two new front tires on now but still for future ref.

But could I go to any dealership & get something in writting stating the law stating that no car dealership can sell any car without spare tire?? I mean spare tire / rim doesnt sound like much $ but still its a big emergency help.

Also I start at the Venetian on the 5th of Dec. Going to be working 12 hour days 6 days a week for 2 weeks! :eek: I already did the math.....I'll be making enough to buy a C38 AA supercharger in 2 weeks! :buttrock: Too bad I probably won't....yet.... :(

15s? I hope I get better than that. Im suppose to do 13.7 stock. I'll be happy with mid 14s due to elevation though. We'll just have to see next Midnight Mayhem i guess.

Certain Rebel Oil gas stations offer 100 octane...i mean, out by the speed way, you can get 106, 110, C16 and some leaded racing fuel, but thats just too much...the 100 octane works great, only bad part is its $4.99/Gal ...i know the Rebel on the following locations have it:
Tropicana/Decatur
Sahara/Valley View
Charleston/Jones

If you call Rebel and ask them, they will give you the list of all of the locations...i just remembered these 3 since they are the closest to my house....None of them are actually close, but closer than the rest of the locations they gave me...

I'm definitely down for a drive. Jessie hey its 50% chance of rain today = Saturday. Sunday is pretty much 90% CLEAR, they're saying 10% chance of rain & little cloudy. We have a better chance of getting the drive for tomorrow for tomorrow depending upon who's all dowen to go. I mean i'm down because i'm on vacation, Jessie also i'm assuming. Lets see who also?? So 400whp can be done with a thicker headgasket, .140" MLS and ARP stud kit...gasket+kit is ~$500.00...if you are willing to do the work yourself, all you will have to pay for is the machine shop to machine your head, after you take it off...another $100.00...so for about $600.00, you can have your engine ready for up to ~400whp...safely...now on the turbo cost, a new GT35R, the turbo that i would recommend is around $~1200.00 ..... the intercooler from eBay is another 100, piping+exhaust ~1000.00...misc. parts, such as oil lines, gaskets, blah blah blah... ~1000.00....
So you are looking at a total of ~$4400.00 to boost your car...that is excluding tuning ;)
Looking that you have a OBD I car, your tuning will be around 500.00 ( chip tuning )...

Now you have to remember that this price of ~$5000.00 is only if you do your own work...if you pay for labor, you are looking at 8K+....
Ohh...and at least $500.00 for clutch ;)

Yea, Jon Volk ( owner of 666 ) does some amazing art work with his manfiolds, great tubular-equal length manifolds...of course they come with a price, bottom mount set up is cheaper than top mount, but still, its like 1000.00 dollars...
Do not buy the cheap eBay ones...well, let me rephrase that, if you do buy one, you have reinforce it...basically you take the manifold, and you have to go over with some welds around the tubes that meet the exhaust ports...other than that, people have used it with success...also you will have to cut and make your own external wastegate pipe, since it doesnt come with one...
Anyways, i would highly recommend getting a log style manifold, like the SPA design one, it is great and durable, holds up to 600+whp i believe...that is what i have on mine and im very satisfied with it...it was 425 shipped and it came with the wastegate downpipe and a few other support brackets...
That turbo is not that bad, .83 turbine A/R is a bit bigger than the GT35R....the one i have at least, i opted with .82 turbine A/R and .70 Compressor A/R....so your turbine is a bit bigger, and the compressor is a bit smaller...which is typical for the T4's....
With that turbo you should hit full boost by 3600-3800rpms... is it ball bearing or journal?? if its ball bearing, you will spool it faster, journal will be about what i stated above...

aha, ok...well there is nothing wrong with journal bearing turbos, they just spool a bit slower, other than that...they are great turbos!
As far as i am aware, i thought HPF does work only for E46 cars, not E36...also the best bang for the buck is chip tuning, if you plan on staying within the initial desired psi level...so if you want 400whp, thats about 12psi on a GT35R, once you get that chip tuning, you cant change that 12psi level, if you want to change it, you have to pay for another tune ;)
So, if you have big plans for the car and wish to have more control over tuning it, your best bet is a standalone like the Tec3R or AEM ( i have Tec3R in mine ) a bit pricey, but it will save you TONS of money in the long run ;)

You won't find a new one for that price anymore. :( Prices have gone up a lot for everything. The dollar is quite weak, and I don't expect that to change in the next 3-6 months.

Hey thats not that weak actually. 2400-2500lbs car with a 180-190bhp motor, not that slow hehe. Keep up with a stock e36 m3. Do a little work to that B18c swap & it'll be totally different story. Jdizzile has or used to be in the honda scene so join the fun hehe.

b18c5 is the type r block b18c is the gsr block

i had a 1997 spec type r motor wich is a b18c with ITR pistons and a PR3 head is was just missing the 4-1 headers that came on the 1998 and up ITR's and the 5 at the end so it was kinda of a sleeper but people that saw the head and intake manifold always caught it lol

Yes!!! Thanks Mike for stepping in here and explaining it better....so you have seen a swing from 6 to 20psi :wow that is very impressive...
I was trying to let them know that a already set up kit from you ( stage 2 ) will probably put them at the same whp level they desire right now...and if you piece it together, it will come out to about the same price...
I did not realize that the manifolds went up so high...I have noticed that the dollar has been dropping, especially with the Euros coming out, and are worth more than the dollar...anyways, that aside... I was going to refer them to you for chip tuning, if they have any questions on pricing and procedures , i hope they PM as you can explain best!!! :)
P.S. i recieved the spark plugs - Thanks a lot!! :) are they stock gap? i need to find my gapping tool so i can check them...

i found me a gt30 dual bb 800 bucks. im thinking about picking it up by this weekend. i will probably end up buying the manifold and wastegate combo TRM offers, then maybe a month or so until headgasket, studs, all the small ect....im shooting for about 3 1/2 months for all the parts. if you can help me find a mani for 450 tho that would be great but would it be cheaper getting the combo with wastegate or no?
That is a good price for the GT30 DBB... is it used or new??
Also, the way it seems is, if Techno says that the prices are indeed 600 for the manifold, i dont think we can find a brand new one for less...may be a used one, a lot of people are switching to top mount as of lately, so they might be selling their old, bottom mount set up...i want top mount too but it is really hot in vegas for a top mount set up :(

E34525 with the kevo multiple posting....

I got my heli in the air and moving around. nothing fancy, just forward and back, side to side. But i tore up the rear blades and they broke off. I also tore up my landing skids after an emergency landing when i got to close to a building. Parts should be here soon. I'll get some action shots later.

haha welcome to the rc world evrytime you take your heli out you will end up buying parts for it.... get a case and buy like 2 of each of the parts that brake the most often. thats what i use to do have like 8 control arms half shafts springs lots of oil and grease have 4 diff etc etc

the turbos used not sure how many miles but no shaft play and looks brand new. still a good price for a used one? come with oil lines water lines banjo bolts and i might be able to talk him in to throwing something else like a wastegate in to the deal or bov possibley intercooler and piping, ill know by this weekend
Nice...as long as there is no shaft play you are all set, that is an AWESOME price even for a slightly used turbo...especially when it comes with banjo bolts and oil/coolant lines...i highly doubt he will throw anything else in the deal, since it is already a low price with the things it comes with...but its worth to ask! :)

Grrr. My car is pissed off at me for some reason. It's dead again...

Took it out for a midnight drive up to Mt. Charleston / Lee Canyon. On the way back, the CD-player started skipping, then stopped playing entirely. No FM-Radio either. At roughly the same time the CD-Player was skippin, the ABS light went schizo, eventually coming on solid, along with the airbag light.

Managed to get all the way home at which point I turned the car off. Tried to turn it back on, and got jack. Suspect either alternator/starter, maybe both. who knows?

For peace of mind. No dealing with an on/off switch when the needle already passed the o-hell 12 o'clock mark on the temp guage. Altho I like driving around without the fan also for the same positive reason. :(

According to AutoZone and various other hints, it appears I now have to replace/repair the alternator. Guess it didn't take to kindly to having coolant sprayed all over it when the upper hose snapped off. Fun...

Hey Kidds Im back. not that anyone missed me. But Yeah!! Calvin Hookin me up with a new celly after the desert tore my razr up. Thanks bro!!!

So this is what happened: Lots of people talking shit (as in the gunners) even the squadron commanders gunner. We hit table 7 (the pre-qual) and there were some hard hitters, I had something to worry about in the race for top gun.
Table 8 day portion goes down (the actual qualifying engagement)and I nail it, 6 T's across the board (highest score poss.) but then two other tracks get the same. The night run is what sets the men from the boys, 2 T's 2 U's, one of the track matches my score for a two way tie, the other track's ISU (integrated sight unit [thermals]) goes down. So we have to wait for a day for them to be changed out. no other crew even comes close to my 8 totoal T's. It was nerve racking waiting for the last track to fire, they matched my score as well. 3 way fuckin tie. couldnt believe it.sfa tie breaker they would take fastest killer (fastest engagement time)de them all up me 131 seconds, im feeling good, second crew 148, im feelin even better, and the final crew............. 130 seconds. god fcukin damnit. I missed top gun by 1 measely second.

So yeah... im home now. :D

What's up Stan? How were the Finals? Well as far as the Temp goes in the honolulu area its 78-80 during the day 66-70 at night. Outside of Honolulu 5-7 degrees less than the above numbers. I'll be picking up an 02+ 330i/ci or 25% chance of a 335i coupe (manual of course) next March and i'll post a video of how murderous that mountain loop is. There's no fun right now because of my autotragic 'Family Car'.

'Sup all. new to this forum and thought I'd say hello. Great pics of Oahu. I lived out there for a couple of years and wish I could afford to move back but Vegas is home for a good while. Some really good info in these threads. My tranny is being rebuilt *ouch* and I'll pick it up tommorow. All stock 325i but am looking forward to some glass headlights and other fix ups for it. Put a new set of meats on it and some new roundels on the hood and center caps since the pic.

This was my 94 325i before it's death. Loved that car, even after the autotragic lived up to the name. Replaced it and kept running strong at 120k miles.
Now I have my 91 318ic at 120k and i could ask for a better car. Hope it still runs when I get home!

I've met a few of you guys about a year ago at Hooters off Sahara. My M3 was running real well then. I either have a fuel pressure regulator issue or fuel pump. It's not hitting peak boost like it used to and feels a little sluggish.

I might be up for a meet this week before Satuday if anything is going down.

Alternator replaced, more voltage to the battery FTW!

Fun note - If you put the belt on wrong (over, instead of under the idle pulley) your car will scream bloody murder, which mine will continue to do for a bit. Tried fixing it this morning, but DAMN that is one tight belt, even with all my weight on the tensioner pulley... any tricks?

Didn't know they made a 300amp alternator.... :confused

There's an 80 and a 140. Bosch and Valejo. Mine was an 80 amp Valejo, which means I can't go to Bosch without getting a pulley with it (they don't interchange), and nobody local sold the 140 Bosch with a pulley, so I ended up just getting another 80 amp, Bosch this time.

I got the Bosch 140amp instead of the factory 80amp locally at pepboys which they both had in stock (sorry not 300! but it was the cost). The pulley had to be swapped, since the new alternator did not come with one. But the 80a you got should be fine unless you plan on going hardcore on sound system or other electronics.

This Rodeo didn't bring any type of business to the venetian it seemed like or the grand canal shoppes area. CES, AVN which i know you all are waiting on, and Jewelry convention are all coming up after new years hehe.

John shoes for men varies, not crazy expensive though. regular price from like $100.00-$150.00 average & knock 50% off of that thats pretty much what i get hehe.
