the last few days have had me doing a load of detailing.

1 - my wife parks her murano on the street and the sprinklers got to it so I had to mild polish, re-seal, then wax that.

2 - then my E36 needed a little wash and wax and today finally,

3 - I got around to washing and waxing my E30. the paint was still buttery so I just applied another coat of Pinnacle Sovereign.

The above looks wierd because it's parked on a slope and the sun's low in the sky

And the type 5's have a polished lip and therefore it's all elbow grease with Mcguire's NXT suds and a soft bristle brush.

Yep, the only time she comes out of the garage is on a sunny weekend for a drive up into the hills. The Sovereign seems to easily last 4 months in these conditions. I don't use the sov on my daily and the wax (mcguires gold class carnuba) seems to last a good month - quite easily too - probably because she's also garaged full time.

During the summer, I've used S100 as a topper over Klasse on my e39 530i, which I drive daily. It only lasts 4 or 6 weeks sitting out in the sun and weather, but I suppose that's normal.

I'm kind of partial to the E30s and Souveran and red so it looks like you're a winner on 3 levels.
