The question says it all, but I'd like to know, because I'm considering the swap, and older M30s are much more abundant, but I want as much stock power as possible and if the difference is significant between the two, I'll have to wait (possibly a long time) for a newer one to show at the JY.
So what's the difference?

not what I have seen at my shop, 2 e34 535, cyl head was fine, blocks were cracked and I don't see that many, so if that is any indication, the blocks are not as good as they once were
