I've got several BMW projects on my plate. I like Sunday the 9th because of commitments on all of the other weekends! Where would these projects be done?

Edit: never mind saw the other thread. I don't know where Dan's house is though. Can someone give me an address?
Thanks!

i voted Sat Dec 8th but i can do 8th or 9th. 15th is the Christmas G2G at Royal Bavaria... unless we want to head up there after the project day.

thats a better idea to me...i say do the project day on the 9th then head to Royal Bavaria. woohoo.

how hard is a window regulator to fix?

im gonna be doing springs, is there anything special needed for that?

Bimmer Ese

I have spring compressor tools. Window regulators are easy.

Looks like the 330 will be heading off to Bimmers and Benz next Monday (finally):)

I'll need to do my right front winreg pretty soon....I haven't touched the window ever since one day it rolled up too slow for my taste....I've had too much experience with winregs going out while the window is on it's way down and ripping the crap out of my tint.

Nice to know there's some experience available when the time comes.

I'm gonna try to pay pal my $ to buy my new rotors and pads...but I don't think they'll be shipped in time...and then I'll need to paint or clear coat them before I put them on...so still looks like I have no projects for myself...which sux.

TechnoM3Girl

oh maybe i should just call david and have him sell me the part and just bring it on sunday. are you volunteering to help me with that one dan? haha

JedzE36/5
12-06-2007, 12:01 AM
ive had a few windows go up slowly. it wasnt the regulator. what happened was the felt liner on the window trays (is that what they are called) came off. realigned the felt and boom fixed.

TechnoM3Girl
12-06-2007, 02:05 AM
you can hear the motor working but the window wont go up or down. brandon said he had to push it back up the day it stopped working.

Wish we could come and finish a couple of my many little projects. However, Peter (DH) herniated a disk in his back from bending over my trunk installing a speaker and amp. Hopefully we can make it to the next project day (spring?).

OK I'm gonna have to take myself off of the attendance list. They are predicting freezing rain, sleet, snow, etc. this weekend.
My PS2s don't have a lot of tread on them and don't do too great on snow and ice.

If y'all still do this please be careful travelling!

Grant01
12-12-2007, 02:21 AM
ask david to take it to Buddy Rice Precision Engine. thats where i took my head to have it looked over. great guys over there. besides that would make sure that david isnt trying to screw you and say its cracked even though its not.

Im not saying that david is a buy guy but this whole situation just seems way to damn flakey to go head first into.

I would still try to make him pay for atleast part of the repair

TechnoM3Girl
12-13-2007, 12:41 AM
well it was smoking really bad and it had all the signs of a cracked head. we cant drive it anywhere else so i figure ill just have him fix it. its just easier since its there and it would save me a headache and more yelling from my dad. he gets mad when i complicate things.

i do know that next time for sure, as long as i dont have to tow the car from norman, i will take it to penn auto.

thanks for the advice though.

anyone check up on that new place in Moore near the new theater?

actually come to think of it, everytime i called i got the same run-around. the only time i have evey been able to get work done there was when Ryan used to work there. i remember he used to be condescending when he would talk about my suspension. used to say stuff like i was messing up my car with aftermarket parts.

I was over there with Brian's car today askin for an opinon on what could be the cause of it continuing to not want to start.
