I returned home from vacation to a completely drained battery. When I unlocked the driver's door the other doors attempted to unlock but there wasn't enough umph in the battery.
After charging the battery I found that the driver's door no longer activated the remaining door locks. However, the keyless (Hofco) keyless alarm still activated the central locking system to unlock and unlock the other three doors and trunk. Today I discovered that if I turn the driver's lock to the second lock position, the other doors do lock. Although, if I push down the driver's door lock from inside the car it does not cause the other doors to lock.
I've looked at my Bentley's electrical drawings and can really put a finger on what's causing the problem? I can't figure out if I should look at the wiring or replacing the actuator.
It would sure be helpful and save a lot of time/cost if you've had similar problems and can share your experience/solution.
Thanks!
