I have not posted in a while....so I apologize if I am in the wrong place for this....

Unfortunately I need to sell my M3 to make way for a baby....and a wife that wants an SUV. ...so I am willing to trade for a nice SUV also...

details can be found by searching the bimmertraderonline website for M3's....and look for the 1997 M3 for $9900...
It is a 1997, 4dr, 5spd, techno violet.
Clutch is new (with lightweight flywheel), otherwise car is stock.
119K miles.
2 sets of rims (both OEM BMW rims, contours with summer tires, and OEM split 3 spoke with bilzzaks). Both sets are staggered.
Car is pretty clean, and runs well. Body has minor dings (normal for the age).

Let me know if anyone wants to take a look at it, has any comments, or has something to trade for it. c-917-664-5581

Thanks, Jamison

forum members don't let forum members get SUVs

id be interested in those rims with winter tires if the price is right, but i feel shipping would be ridiculous on them.

suvs are so dangerous to put children in- why would anyone want one?

look at a 5er wagon. im sure you could get a older e39 for that or less.

and only have one kid. that way you can mount them in the center rear section, the safest part of the car.

To help everyone (and the seller) out, I think this is the link...

I'm curious...what happened to the passenger side front bumper? It looks misaligned.

Also, E39 wagons actually have more usable interior room than the E53 X5.

It kills me to see E36 M3/4's for sale for so cheap. Someone should snatch this up quickly.

Wisky, I actually thought that I would be able to sell this pretty quickly at this price. Plenty of people seem to be interested, no one seems to want to make the trip to see it.
I have even had 2 people instantly turn it down for "1-item" requirements. One for no sunroof, and one for no heated seats.

BTW....I am now in East Windsor, NJ...exit 8 off the NJ turnpike. (my profile is a little old). I am also willing to meet people, if there is a more convenient location.

Thanks

Weird. Heated seats are an easy purchase, and no sunroof makes this car *more* desirable.

I am interested in learning more because I thought it was difficult and not cheap. Is this DIY? What would be the price tag to do this (so that it would look like/similar to factory option)? Thanks.

I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean you'd want to install a sunroof? In that case, find an E36 M3 that has one - almost all of them did! I'm not trying to be a smart ass, I'm just suggesting that you don't ruin this non-sunroof car for those people that really want one (they can be hard to find). If I was ready to buy right now, I'd jump all over this.

Just thought I'd do the owner a favor and add some pics from the bimmertraderonline here as well. Enjoy!
