Thanks man. We are now beginning a turbo setup which is going to be alot of fun. I really hope we can keep the cost down. I want to see swarms of turbo M3's running the streets:D

You get a cheap turbo set up and I will be your first customer

You got it!!!

I want to keep it @ or under $10K installed and tuned. We'll see how it goes.

Sign me up as well. What turbo would you go with? Also are those numbers with 93 octane? Again, nice work. :)

Edit: n/m GT37...nice

yeah 93 octane.

probably at GT37.

I am working with some big names in the BMW tuning world now. Now i really think doing this at a reasonable cost is attainable. For me its about doing something different on my own.

Personally I am against kits. When I say kits I mean, my name stamped on every part and a 100% markup for putting a bunch of parts that fit together, in a box.

These other people want to build a full DME only turbo setup. so if they do, you can have them build you a system. I want my piggback because I get cool features and can tune myself (very important for me, even though i cant tune vanos. maybe they will give me a program so i can tune my own car atleast?)

But we all want everyone out there to be able to have a reasonably priced turbo option. They want to go with a different turbo, which is fine. But i have a friend who has a knack for getting retail accounts with companies without having to pay buy-ins. So personally I have to go garrett because i can get a deal on it for the prototype setup.

If we do make a "kit", sure we will want something for our trouble. But i am not going to tack on huge markups to completely pay for my setup or something.

VERY NICE!! I'm looking forward to the updates! Finally someone getting a potentially solid solution to a problem that's been around for too long. As for your long distance phone bills, you might want to try Skype. It's free ;)

hmmm... well at this point I have made all the calls I have to. there is minimal communication now and until the turbo is done I will have my hands full working on my car and b0ki's.
