I just bought a 2003 Carbon black M3 Cabrio. It has 6 spd ( never liked the SMG) all maintenance record, clean Carfax and 27K miles and rides like a dream. It is also almost spotless. I paid $32000.I thought it was a good deal.
I find the shifter a bit vague and sloppy which is unlike my friends 01 330ci.
Any advice on installing a shortshift kit? Is it worth doing?
Your input is appreciated.

alot of times the internals of the tranny are what wears and that tight shifter feel can never got again until the tranny is opened up.

aside from going to realoem.com and ordering all the bushings to the external part of the shifter, you may just be SOL>

oh yea. uucs shifter feels great IMO. however, i use an mcoupe shifter.

UUC SSK will be well worth the money and effort

first upgrade I did on my e46 M3 and my 530...makes it feel like a new transmission...seriously.

A 2003 cabrio with 27k in Canada? If you bought it here you stole it for 32k. State side they seem to go for much less. Congrats. You won't be disappointed.
