2000 (E38) 740i Sport For Sale or Trade-

122,200 miles and pics below
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For Sale my 2000 740I Sport or Trade --- $12,000 "obo"

All creature and comfort features are standard as many of you know the detail specs.

The basics:

VIN – WBAGG8344YDN76232
Color – Titanium Silver Metallic(color code 354) with gray leather
OEM sport package – option code 0270
Steptronic trans – Auto/Manual
Glass Moonroof – Code 0403
Integrated phone – not upgraded though.
Always Garaged
Super nice AC.
Georgia car since new.
Most of these are just common on the 7’s and usually occur between the 50k and 100k marks. Fortunately for you, I have had to address them.

See pics below

Condition:

This car is a very tight stock car. I have not done any aftermarket performance mods to it except for the addition of a rear sub(optional). I have service/part records for most things. Most of the common 740 issues have been corrected.

The vehicle has not been damaged or wrecked.

Interior: Normal to above – see pics

Exterior: Normal front nicks and nacks above the grill. See pics

Service Items:

Tires – Michelin Pilots wore out, so It's got new Toyo Proxe 4's (600miles) about 2 months ago.– 4 wheel align at this time.
Brakes – All new brakes – Nov 05 – Disc, Rotors, Sensors - still fine.

DCS control module – New Nov 05. When I bought the car I had issues with the DSC/ABS light always on. A pricey little thing.
Airmass meter – New Nov 05. – This went along with the module service.
Temp Sensor, Switch Rad, and hose all replaced – April 05.
Instrument cluster – New Oct 05 – common pixel issue
Battery – New April 06
Power Steering Lines – All 4 new Mar 05
Coolant reservoir – New Mar 05
Heater Valve – New Mar 05
Water Pump and all hoses acc. – New Feb 06
New headliner - (drooping rear pass) - Nov 17th - that sucks, but better for the new owner.

Known Issues:

- A small ding above the wheel well. Probably a grocery basket runaway or the basket owner’s door. The paint is not disturbed.

- Started notcing a little creak when turning slow speed. Need to check if thats the common bushings or not.

Overall this in great shape. I would like to sell this or consider nice trade for a quad cab truck(looking at tacoma) or a smaller BMW. Please email or call if you have any questions. (404)461-3720.

Thanks,

Craig

Looks good from what I see. I agree with sachmo12345, prospective buyers need a little more to go on. I'm in the market for a 2000-1 740i or iL and I'd like to know more about yours.

Milage is 122k now, back from my trip. It's my daily driver when not on the bike.

Craig, I thought the Sport package had the 3 spoke sport steering wheel? Is this a regular 740i with upgraded sport wheels? soes it have the sport suspension?

Thanks, John

Early 2000 Sports OR Sports with the heated steering wheel option came with the 4-spoke. Checks out to be a legit Sport to me!

I think there were 2 sport packages. The Sport Package with suspension, different seats, m parallel rims and if you had the True Sport i believe only available in 2001 it had all of that with the new 3 spoke steering wheel. Not positive but I think thats how it went and the sport seats and 3 spoke steering wheel were never available on the IL.

Would you be interrested in a 98 silver/black M3 (cpe, manual) with 120k???
