i found a couple of good videos as well it seems like trhe first couple of miles are on small roads

Coming from 101, it starts wide and gets narrower near the ocean. I haven't been all the way through, but the part I did drive was a blast.

Skaggs is a ton of fun. I've done it several times and it never gets boring. We make the first observation point after the lake to the bridge one lap and take it from there, never had any problem with the po-lice. I'm definately going, cant wait!

and another thought, that gas station has a very steep driveway that my car can't get into without scraping. So i would recommend Starbucks, it's just south and has a much better entrance, plus it's right next to the freeway on-ramp aswell.
