anyone from the chicago area willing to check out a '00 528i for me at a used car dealership in elmhurst? i'm about 2 hours south and would like to have someone familiar with these cars give it a pre-scan for me before i make the drive up.

I would be happy to. However, I will not be able to until Weds. Mon & Tues are booked day into the night. Weds Im off. I'll check this thread Weds morning, or Tues night when I get home and if you still need some help, I'll make the trip first thing Weds morning.

What happened there? I have never been there so I dont have any feedback.

I had looked at cars(used) there time and time again. Everyone came back with some kind of problem from carfax. One time I went to look at a M3, it was maybe a grand less then everyone around, I found out the car was in accident. I just would not buy a used car from them.
