are blue turn signals legal in california? lol. haha cause i went to a grand opening today and i gothooked up with.... hyper white high and low beams.... and blue corners. theyre like REALLY BLUE

pretty sure they are illegal, but ive had blue turn signals for a while and nothing, just dont sit next to a cop with them on...

i have them because
the bulbs that actually come out white are expensive
and mine look white unless it is pitch black and i turn on my signals..

That is somewhat true, as if you modify the entire turn signal housing to a non-OEM piece, even if it is a stock white signal bulb, it is illegal. But as with most laws, it varies by officer :confused But blue is definitely illegal.

yeah...blue def illegal
had some blue bulbs that blinked like a hyper white and got pulled over for that....followed by a fix it ticket for that and no insurance in my benz...and the area for the turn signals was clear so the bulb was more noticeable. i had it like that for awhile before the time came...

white or amber on side
rear must be RED or AMBER

blue/white signals are illegal, so are clear corners.

VC states there must be amber reflectors facing forward of the vehicle and the signals must be amber for the front and amber/red for the rear.

It's a petty fix it ticket if you are cited, never stopped me from installing clear corners, but I do keep an amber bulb behind them.

Of course, I was talking about the front corners, as the matter pertains.

Anyway, just get some ambers, color it over with a silver sharpie, and use a paper towel to remove the excess so you don't block out too much light. I did that for all 4 corners and it's beautiful.
