My Well Respected Friends of the Forum,
First I would like to thank GCR, JBD5015,uberkarldrei, and most importantly Project "P' for their unselfish and accurate to the tee trouble shooting regarding my fuel line flood. You guys rock the Motor World. You were all 100% correct....even to the grinding width of the open ended wrench.

Now if I may be so bold....... does anyone know of an after market dash cluster IC board for the tach/ speedo cluster. $450.00 from the dealer is worthy of searching from the "Pros from Dover"....as it were!!!!!

PS I loved that movie!!!!

I just called the local BMW dealer in Portland OR and was quoted $490.00 for this board.
My mechanic (great guy) said there used to be a after market company that provided one but he said they went out of business. I called the local salvage yard about "just the board" and they said they will sell only the entire dash cluster including the board........but no guarantees it works.
I was sure hoping someone had some insight about this ordeal....
